I used to have a Soltek KT133A board and it was a very nice board. Good looking (sorry, not purple...), nicely made, great features. Google for Soltek Reviews and you'll find a number of them, they're a solid board, about the same level of quality/lack of recognition that Albatron has. So many people just go straight to Abit, Shuttle, or Asus that only recently the lesser known companies like Albatron, Soltek, and MSI have been getting recognition.

Soltek is an excellent board maker and their Golden Flame nF2 series were the best out there for price/performance for quite awhile. They received excellent reviews all over the web. I've built quite a few systems using their nF2 boards and they are very good overclockers. They haven't been targeting the enthusiasts with their latest products though it seems. Everytime I read a review of Soltek boards lately they don't have the full range of overclocking options and results I've come to expect after using the Golden Flames.

EDIT:looks like this Black Thunder is another solid offering for price/performance but has that very limited overclocking ability again link

Thanks fellas. I'm thinking of pulling the perverbial trigger on a A64 3200 but have no clue as to what board to get, as usual, and this one looked the coolest. Actually I would like Black PCB with dark blue accents to match the blue vid card , black Mushin ram, Black water blocks and blue case I have.

to be continued...
