~700 headlines from around the world on November 5th.

It's interesting to see how the world reacted to the win.

The overwhelming favorite headline: Obama

But there were are few other interesting ones too, like "BAM!" (Toronto Sun).

It was certainly a historic day for a historic election, and papers around the world made sure they had a cover to reflect it.

Unfortunately, the headlines the next day got nasty. Berlusconi has been accused of saying a racist comment towards Obama while speaking with the Russians. Gotta cater to the far-right after all. Just like I said, the racism from Europe will be directed towards Obama.

While a dumb comment, it doesn't seem too bad after reading the article although when you first posted that my first reaction was to see racism/Italy and not be surprised. That is sad. It's also sad that you can add in Spain, France and a few other Western and Eastern Eurpean countries into that mix and I still won't be surprised.

The guy might just be jealous his own tan looks so ridiculous.

He also claims that the Chinese boiled babies for fertilizer, so he's not exactly the most sane person.

"Obama was 'young, handsome and tanned'" Doesn't sound to bad to me.

Nothing really. Anything that can be turned into a anti-Europe rant is subject to CanOWorms fetishistic posting. I'm surprised he hasn't badmouthed Europe in the minimum wage thread.
