Looks like a WW1 or WW2 era trench knife.

ETA: I'm guessing the 1918 means WW1.

I hate daggers.

"Dagger" = Double-edged
"Knife" = Single-edged

And the grip, while definitely cool looking, only enables a single grip and do not allow changes, which I wouldn't like either. It in effect, only allows three attacks.

It is a WWI-era knife, which the above poster mentioned.

Nice little pommel, though.

Overall, I'd give it a :thumbsdown: if only for the grip.

Daggers are mainly used for one thing: Stabbing.
Knives, however, are designed more for slicing.

I shouldn't say I hate daggers, as it sounds pretty extreme, but I'd much, much prefer using a knife if I have to (and luckily, I nevert had to :thumbsup: ).

Don't get me wrong, it's not as if I'm the authority on knives (but then again, looking at the crowd on ATOT . . .), but I know what I like, that's all.

Most people wouldn't have qualms about knives like that. Obviously, the OP does but I don't like them for what I tend to do with knives.

But then again, I'm peculiar about knives. For one thing, I don't like folders. Only fixed blade for me. :thumbsup:
