Would having an older fairly warm PSU negate cooling a 1700+ Tbred/PAL8045 on an nforce2 with 2 high vol panaflos and a bay cooler directly across from the cpu/HS unit? Thanks
 
Hopefully the PSU fan is blowing that hot air straight out the back before it gets a chance to escape into the case. Just don't have any intake fans in the rear to pull it back in.
 
if your power supply fan can't effectively get the heat out of the case, or you don't have good exhaust - then yes....
