Say that the O.P. has someone begin to thread crap within their thread, and wants the thread to continue, the O.P. should have the option to ban the user from posting within that thread, i think it would keep a lot of ppl happier because crappy posters wont be posting in their threads and making the threads worthless.

thoughts?
 
good idea on the ban, but i suggest having the option of sending midgets to beat that persons a$$ so that they never thread crap again

EDIT: Not that he's a troll, but all the wrong forum posters would probably have his name there by default.
 
errr... they better work on a way to change the icon of a thread you have posted in that has new messages first.

At first I thought it wasn't a bad idea, but I don't see it working out. People will get pissed when they are "banned" from another users thread, and soon we will have even more e fights.

Edit: I would like to see AT include "rep points" like they have over at slickdeals. :thumbsup:
This way, when someone posts a really good hot deal, or has a good answer to a question you asked, or makes a good point, etc., you can give them some rep points. There would be no "negative" rep points for what you think are "bad" posts, but after 6 months or so, it would start to be clear who has useful posts.
