Found it while sideling around the Mart this evening.

It was 60 here today.

3 weeks ago it was 0 with 2 feet of snow over 3/4 inches of ice.

I hate the Midwest.

Oh and a 2 weeks ago bunch of tornados were ripping through this area.

little space heaters like the can really help the heating bill. electric is more efficient then gas, and you can heat just one area at a time, leaving the rest of the house a couple of deg lower.

The reasons why I LOVE IT!!!! (Minus the ice. All snow for me, thanks.)

I'd like to know how resistive heating is more efficient than burning natural gas. :)

Localized heating is a good thing though - we have baseboard heating so it's not really possible to do that, although I wish I could to save some cash each winter...

It was a perfect day here today at 70 degrees, light wind.

However, if you would like to trade homes from, oh, say November 15 - March 15 each year just let me know. ;)

Actually, electic space heaters are near %100 effecient...almost all the energy used becomes heat. Unlike gas furnaces which all the electricty used is wasted, and the energy loss out the exaust can be signifigant (depending on age and type of furnace)...

I guess what u guys mean is "less costly" rather than "more effecient"....

That all entirely depends on gas vs electric prices in your area.

My room mate and I used a pair of these to keep our hands from freezing while living in the dorms. Our room had no heating, and our window (right over the built-in desk where we'd work/game) would not seal, so in the winter we had a nice 40-50 degree room. $20 is a nice price, now if only there was a need for them with this warm weather.... ;)
