Cool! Did you know Sam's Club repairs flat tires for free?

I didn't until today. If you are a club member you can get flats fixed at no charge. Even if you didn't buy the tires there.

Not a *huge* bonus, but nice none the less.

Just thought I'd pass that along since nobody I know knew about it.

Nice, but, generally I do it myself. It usually takes about 2hrs to get a plug put in at those places, vs about 15-20mins to do it myself. I guess you can let them do the 'inside' patch which may be better, but, the plugs work fine for me and relatively painless process.

Eh. Sometimes it's just as easy to let somebody else do it...especially if it's free. Drop off tire, run errands for an hour, pick up tire. Only get hands a little dirty taking tire in and out of car.

I would never use a plugged tire for highway driving. I have all my flats patched or booted from the inside.

They also lost my wheel cover, and wouldn't admit it. Cost me $40 to replace it.

I bet they only plug them for free. I believe in patches only.

I have a slow leaker right now....wish I could download a patch for it! :p
