So it's 4am and me being a total insomniac I'm awake. Suddenly i hear a tapping noise on glass so I think wtf? Who or what is tapping on my window at this hour? I get up look out the window and there's no one around. There's crickets chirping so If someone had been there they probably wouldn't be. (They go silent if you scare them)
Now I'm really awake so I turn on the lights and turn on the computer and I see what looks like an unpopped popcorn kernel on my glass desk. I hadn't eaten popcorn in months. There is a shelf right above the desk where the popcorn kernel was found. I had just vacuumed this whole desk just yesterday and there was no popcorn kernel there before.
So I'm thinkin a spider must have tried to carry it up to the shelf and dropped it. I looked for him but I don't see him, I go back to reading the forums (not these forums, another. A forum about lasers if you must know.)
Anyway as I'm reading the forums lo and behold here comes the spider crawling down the wall towards the unpopped popcorn kernel. I'm like wtf are you doin little fella? It's not like you can eat that, it's hard! What is he just playing with it? He was about 2 times the size of the popcorn kernel. Not that big.
Anyway I squished him on his way down to fetch the kernel but now I regret it. I should have waited to see if he'd try to carry it up the wall again and watch him fail and drop it yet again. But he creeped me out as spiders often do and I was too quick to snuff out the poor lil fella.
