Cool Boarders 2 (PSN DLC)

I bought this the other day when queasy posted that it was out. I figured yay a game of my youth. I was completely wrong...

The graphics looked horrible. I had my tv set to 4:3 and the game set to Normal mode. and it still looked horrible. smoothness on or off, still looked bad. moving past that...

Controls , I dont remember the controls being rather un-responsive. would have been nice if they added analog support. Hitting moves was a pain as in there seemed to be a delay. Doing any sort of spin was kind of hit or miss. sometimes it would and sometimes it wouldnt.

And my last gripe.... Loading. The game is on the HDD. With the capabilities of the ps3. why this doesnt load quicker is beyond me. takes 15-20 secs to load the halfpipe. multiply that by all the maps you may play. could just be me

That is weird. I haven't bought any PS1 games on PSN (keeps debating over picking up Jet Moto), but I haven't really heard of any slowness issues loading games.

You'd think with a PS1 game, loading off the the HD would be pretty much instantaneous, most of the PSN games in general seem to have pretty quick load times.

yes this is true, crash bandicoot 1/2 load pretty quickly and are almost true clone's to there counterparts. (i owned Crash bandicoot 2 when it came out for ps1) so im familiar with what it should look like.
