Cool beans, Logitech Driving Force for Playstation2 works on your P.C. too : )

I got the Driving force wheel for my Playstation2 to use with GT3, I love it, need to practice some more to get used to it though, so after I got tired of the ps2 I took the wheel and hooked it up to my computer(USB), winxp saw it and configured it, then I downloaded the Need For Speed Porsche Unleashed DEMO and played some, it worked great 😀 I even won the race through Normandy 😀

Man, now I guess I have to cut them some slack on the price. I always thought $100 was a bit steep for a console wheel. Hey, pick up a MOMO Force and tell us if it works on the Playstation 2! 😉 Or did you use one of those USB adapters to plug it into your computer?

The ps2 Driving Force wheel connects to the ps2's usb port (it has two usb ports) so I just plugged it in to my hub on my computer.

Wingznut PEZ says the pc version also works on the ps2, but I dont know if the lack of the ps2 specific buttons on the pc version would be an issue. In the picture I linked to you can see there are no playstation2 buttons on the wheel, the buttons would be in the two blue bumps at the top right and top left on the wheel. The playstation2 version has a point of view hat and the four buttons "X" "O" "^" "[]" like a playstation controller, these buttons also are functional in games on your computer, so using the playstation2 version on a computer gives you a twelve button wheel with P.O.V. hat 😀


I tried a couple more racing demo's , Nascar racing 4 which seems like an older game maybe? and Rally Trophy, I liked Rally trophy, might have to get that one.
