I agree, the levels of TV violence would reach an all time high if this commercial would be released. I mean what would happen if they would start making shows with people in rubber monster costumes, and "heroes" in colored costumes using "Martial Arts" to defeat them. My children would go absolutely crazy... My meager parental skills are no match for a cadre of TV marketeers pumping out violent shows laden with flashing lights and sounds. I wouldn't know what to do if they showed something as graphic as this though... It makes me sick to my stomach to think that some people actually find these sort of things entertaining.
