Cool app to detect credit card skimmers at the pump.

I downloaded this app today and tried it out, it didn't detect any skimmers at my usual fill up spot. It is free so I'm not gaining anything by posting this. Just thought it was kind of cool and it might help someone here.

I use cash, but more libre software's always a good thing. Got me interested though. I might try writing a script that does the same thing, and test it when I'm standing around pumping gas.

The reviews of it say that it basically crashes constantly and doesn't work for most people.

I just pay inside, just a force of habit as pay at pump is relatively new here at the stations that even have it.

Got shimmed on a business trip to SoCal a few years ago while filling up at a Valero station. Could have used this then. Thieves got away with three (3) $100 charges a few months later. Called the CC company and was surprised when I was told that I had to have made these charges. I asked to be transferred to someone not smoking crack ... they then cleared the charges and issued a new card.
