yup, that's Pipe Dream, one of the demos ATI programmed to showcase DirectX 9 with their Catalyst drivers.

Get the high res mpeg and the executable here at ATI's site.

I used a program called NetTransport. It downloaded the file no problem. Except I had to download the link first. then open the resulting file in textpad. Take the link it proviced then replaced http with MMS

I thought that animation was originally done by Animusic on some renderfarm. They won a Siggraph award with it, if I remember correctly. ATi just took the anim to showcase their technology, I think.

I think that's right. I gave the credit to ATI, when it wasn't theirs.
