I currently have a Blue Orb installed on my Asus V7700 and I'm toying with the idea of installing the OEM fan and heatsink onto the back side of the card. Has anyone tried this? Is there any risk of shorting something out if components on the back side make contact with the heatsink? Thanks.

I did it, and it worked fine!
I got some frag tape, and a little curled up piece of metal, and double layered it. I also ahve a blueorb on the other side, and im getting great temps.
good luck,

Make sure the heatsink is coverered with non-conductive stuff so it wont short out some metal thingies on the back of your video card.
