This is certainly a interesting situation. I have no doubt that the Athlon 4 with a GF2 Go will rip apart Tualtin in the Desktop Replacement sector, but anything below that AMD is gonna have problems, because the CPU Socket is still a Desktop Socket A, and it is a HUGE Form factor, and that despite the Palomino core, it still is gonna eat more power and put out more heat than the .13micron Tualtin, so it should be interesting. It will be the better CPU, and the best option in the Desktop Replacemnt, but it will be very difficult for it to compete for the time being in the other markets, in my opinion until the move to .13micron SOI.
