I'm in the process of making cornbread for the first time and realized that while the receipe calls for sifted flour, I do not have a sifter. Normally I would just continue but with cornbread I am not sure.

Is the end product noticeable different when unsifted flour is used?

My mom stores the flour in tin and just scoops out what she needs for whatever recipes she makes. Never uses a sifter.

If you don't have a sifter, either use unsifted flour, or use a pasta strainer or a fork or a whisk to lighten the unsifted flour before measuring.

Will it make much difference? Probably not.
