This is twice now that I've had pizza broiled instead of baked because the dial was left at broil and never set back to bake.

makes the dough like soggy...

ever do this?

someone needs to make an autosensing oven...

Fastest crispy pizza ever :)

I use microwave + bake. I don't like the crust if it's microwave only and the oven alone takes too long. Get it soft and warm in the microwave, then the oven crisps it up and it comes out perfect.

So you're telling everyone that you're a dumbass who has TWICE not checked the oven setting before you used it?

Someone just needs to check what setting the oven is set to before using it.

It isn't like the oven is always on either. You have to turn it on, so clearly, there is something wrong with your method of turning on the oven.

There's probably a separate knob to determine bake or broil, so he most likely doesnt ever need to use that unless he plans to broil.

So basically you don't know how to use an oven?

Best if you work on that. Can somebody teach you how to use this oh so confusing appliance? Manual maybe?

I mean you can understand the inner workings of fire, primers and every mechanical aspect of firearms, but yet you don't know how to use it? Fire that is.

RTFM.

What, exactly, is it supposed to automatically sense?

Mine just has buttons, it would be near impossible to do broil and not immediately know it.

Auto pizza recognition. It's when the MS paperclip pops up and says "It looks like you're trying to cook a pizza. Is this correct?" followed by "NO! Don't broil it you crazy bitch!"

Do you not check the temp before you put something in...? Most ovens I've seen have 'broil' on the top end of the heat setting.

I believe he's referring to the second switch, that usually has Bake or Broil on it.

And is your life really that sad that you felt the need to post about how you fucked up a frozen pizza? I mean, when you realized your pizza was cooked on the wrong setting, did you think to yourself "Oh shit, my pizza's ruined....oh well at least I can post about it on ATOT so it isn't a total loss"
