So I bought some chicken but it has a bad smell to it... it's been in the fridge for two days, then I froze it... meat looks okay, but had a bad smell.

Think it's safe to eat if I cook it enough?

chicken should not smell at all.
No matter how it looks, smell is the first indication it is going bad.
I had a chicken in my fridge and was going to cook it but it smelled so i threw it out.
I do not think eating a bad chicken just to not waste $4 is worth getting food poisioning over.
THat is just me though.

Throw it out, and complain to the store. Chicken shouldn't go bad after two days if it was not removed from package, assuming your fridge is working right.

Does it smell rancid? If so, it is just the fat (if any is there) breaking down. Nothing to worry about.

C'mon, be a man and eat it. Throw enough ketchup on and you won't even notice the smell.

throw it out.

IF i get a bad smell from chicken its gone. not worth getting sick on the stuff. Also call the store and tell them. odds are they will give you a credit for it.

Trim the fat, rinse it off, dry it, cook it. You'll be fine. Minendo knows what he's talking about.
