Cookie Dough in Ice Cream is horribad

Licorice ice cream is amazing. I've only had it once from a boutique vendor at a festival, but if I could buy it in a store, it would probably be at least 33% of my ice cream purchases. Another 33% would be coffee, and the rest would be miscellaneous stuff that caught my eye.

Coffee ice cream is excellent except for the coffee part.

I remember as a kid Baskin Robbins had a licorice ice cream.

Peanut butter ice cream is nasty, but vanilla ice cream with melted peanut butter and chocolate syrup and whipped cream is heavenly. Sprinkles too if you feel like being a kid again.

Cookie dough was my favorite for a long time, but I've always liked coffee. Mint chocolate chip is awesome too, and also cherry chocolate chip (with real cherries).

If you live near central MA and like ice cream, check out Kimball Farm. They make all their own stuff, and a "small" (below) is pretty much a pint of ice cream - I always get the kiddie size.

eh, it's the same for every ice cream. "Lite" ice cream or "diet" aren't even ice cream. They may be ice, but they ain't "cream".

Damn, I should have stayed out of this thread because now I really want ice cream, and I can't really have any probably for another 60-90 days (I had to make some big changes to my eating habits about a month ago).

peanut butter ice cream is so sickeningly overpowered

in cookie dough ice cream, you can strategically distribute your consumption of the chunks to balance dough and cream

but in peanut butter ice cream? there is no escape

there is only overwhelming peanut-ish taste that seems subtle at first, but eventually steamrolls your tastebuds

i have tried peanut butter ice cream on numerous occasions but never finished a cone or bowl of it

I don't particularly care for peanut butter flavored ice cream, but peanut butter IN ice cream can be good. Baskin Robbins used to have a chocolate ice cream with a peanut butter ribbon in it that was good. Maybe they still do, I think the last time I went into an ice cream shoppe was three or four years ago, and maybe once in the three or four years before that.

I LIKE quality licorice ... most black jelly beans OTOH are not that.

I know it's horribad so I don't buy it. I think I had cookie dough ice cream once. It wasn't great but even not so great ice cream is pretty good. But I usually stick with the basics. Vanilla or chocolate.

Really good pizza is very, very good. When the pizza is not-so-great, it's still pretty good.
