Cooker (Mandrake 8.0 beta) ISOs for download

Straight from the source! Go down to the bottom. I had never seen beta ISOs from Mandrake available directly from them. You could always make your own (they tell you how), but hadn't posted any.

They also have a beta of Cookfire (basically a firewall distro, possibly like FreeSCO) for download.

I tried Debian 2.2 once. Let's just say that I haven't tried again. 🙂

Anyhooo, I installed the Cooker ISOs and the system announces itself as 8.0 (not 7.3). Kernel 2.4.1 and XFree96 4.0.2 are default.
