I was wondering does anyone know someone this happen too. So I have a cousin. Basically he drank 6 oz of beer around and 1 shot of vodka. After 15 min he was nocked out. Then the scary stuff started to happen. He kept have seizures, he kept convulsing. He checked his heart rate and it was now well over 150 bpm. His body was burning up, I don't know how hot exactly but it very very hot. I tried by best to help keep him cool. After around 3 hours he stop convulsing and woke up (sort of). I had to carry him to the bathroom to throw up. Then I carried him back to the couch. He slept in my living room because I didn't want anything to happen to him.

This was his first time drinking. I am over 21 and he was actually 20 and I asked him if he wanted to try it. The last sentence should read he slept in the living room with me watching over him all night.

He was visiting me because I wanted to check out my school he was thinking about tansfering here.

minendo what does that mean.

Lack of the enzyme required to break down alcohol.

So he should never drink alcohol then.

he should take it easy first. You build up tolerance.

Not true. If he actually lacks the enzyme, he will never build up a tolerance.

He checked his heart-rate while convulsing, and apparently, passed out/asleep, eh?

The convusions where not non stop. He would convulse for a few seconds then stop. A few min later he would do it again.

yeah first u are extremely dumb for not getting medical attention

and dont drink unless you seek a doctors advice and he clears him (which i highly doubt they would)

he probably lacks the enzyme(like minendo said) or is allergic

Medical attention was not possible because he was under 21. We both would have been introuble. Me for giving it to him and him for drinking it.

He has an allergy to alcohol. He will not "build up a tolerance" and even though it was "only" a beer and a shot, that's more than enough for some people. Yes, such an allergy does exist. Yes, that means he should STOP DRINKING.

Yeah, and good job doing something about it. People convulsing is generally not good, fever when you are 20 is also pretty uncommon in most people. All bad signs, and you did jack sh1t about it. Way to be responsible. Call poison control, the hospital, etc next time. Yeah, he was underage, but getting in trouble is better than dying, right?

Oh, OF COURSE. A persons life isn't as important as such harsh consequences as fines and community service.
