Convince me to keep or return my canon a70

So I went out to buy a digital camera. I was thinking I'd get at least a 4.0 megapixel but the store had an a70 on sale for $165. I grabbed it but now am having second thoughts. Do I really need 4+ megapixels? Is there a compelling reason for me to keep it or return it? I only have a 15 day return policy so I won't have enough time to play with it as much as I'd like to - any advice?

Where were you able to get a new Powershot A70? They were discontinued in favor of the A75 over six months ago.

Circuit City. It was labeled $175 but the guy knocked off another 10 bucks since it's kinda old.

might as well keep it, you got a great deal on it, and 4mp isnt really a uge ammount, and in like a year its gonns be on the low end of things

iirc outpost & Fry's both still sell new A70's. They package them with a 4x6 canon printer for $200

Its an ok camera and takes reasonable pics. Its my fishing camera that I can whip out and take pics of the fish that I catch and release.
I have a Sony camera that takes better photographs but it cost more.

keep it. the only benefit to the newer lines might be 1) large LCD, 2) swivel LCD. Either way, it's going to cost you more anyway.
