Convince me the 07 Altima is much better than the 06

Really the differences are you are paying for styling, a cvt if you get an auto, and like 15 more hp i believe. If the price difference is greater than $2000, get an 06.

Actually, I can weigh in on this.

Before I purchased my '04 6 Hatchback, I rented an Altima to drive up north for a mini vacation (recently lost our Nissan 240sx to a huge oak tree branch in FL during the Hurricanes and needed a rental at the time)

I thought the Altima was clunky and felt like a Buick most times. The center console, huge dash, crappy plastics were all bad. It handled well enough although sloppy. It was a 2.5 base mdl Altima with about 20k miles on it.

We wanted to stay with Nissan but bought the 6 instead because of the style, trunk space, mpg, tighness on the road (after tire upgrade). It was just a more sportier ride. Hell, every other car you pass on the damn road is a silver ALTIMA, and we wanted DIFFERENT **LMAO**

I'm sure you'll get people in here leading you to Altima review sites and pushing their "I saw it reviewed here and it was great" links, but this is my personal review after driving the Altima and switching to the 6 (2 weeks later)

If I were given an new Altima today, I'd sell it and buy a 6 😉

I'd kill for a 6, sadly, "I'm not the one paying for the car, and can buy whatever I want when that changes" - Dad. Note: Dad hates Mazdas, American cars, Toyotas, and all German automobiles (basically, I can get a Honda or Nissan).

K, so the 2007 is only worth $2k more

That's the 2004.
The 2007 is vastly improved in every aspect, namely the interior and torque steer on the 3.5.

My mom has a 2002 altima 3.5se (first year of newer style). Again i'd highly recommend it. People who complain about interior and such are too picky. The handling, power, braking, and gas mileage is all great with the v6 and will work well for you in the long term.
