Convet XP to Vista!!!

Ok i know this sounds a lil funny but are there any themes or progs that can convert the looks and style of an XP to Vista....for FREE....you know like using Style XP......i use umxtheme (somethig by that name) that can install those free styleXP theme.......i googled it and found a prog by name FlyakiteOSX v3.0........havent tried it but they say its has the looks and feel of Vista including the use of widgets.......

So know any files/sites/link where i can find someting similar.......

I am not an all interested in installing Windows VISTA because there is so much trouble using it.....even my abit uGuru was not working >_< ........trouble using it.......but i was totally hooked on the style......so any hints????
 
The only way to "convert XP to Vista" is to do an upgrade install.

There are several UI tools out there that can make some of the XP UI *look similar* to Vista, but it's definetly not the same thing.
 
well untill the darn VISTA becomes stable enough for EVERYONE!! i willl stick to XP.......anyways i am in the middle of trying it..if it works and is stable i will let you and everyone know.....but i really would like to know if some1 already did it...

Enjoy your wait, XP isn't yet 'stable' enough for some people.
 
My current XP install looks almost identical to Vista but it's all just visuals and skins mostly. I am staying the hell away from Vista until they get more stable drivers and hope to upgrade within the next 6 months or year. I've just seen wayyy too many horror stories to even want to bother with upgrading.

As far as upgrading goes, spend the extra money (what is it, like $50-$150?) and get the full version. AFAIK MS has never recommended upgrading their products from the Win95 days. Sure they will sell you a 'upgrade' but they will also post in their KB and TechNet NOT to do upgrades if you can, and do a full install. I also speak from experience. Try to get a full install of the program and do it that way. Make sure to back EVERYTHING up first. Good luck.

If so, that's likely close.

But i'd suggest using the real thing...far better than themes or styles, & far better than XP (oh yes, i said that).
