Converting Xbox controller to USB

I've got an extra Xbox controller I was going to convert to use on my PC today. I was wondering if anyone knew of any good, solid drivers I can use? I'm not sure how this works, but can you configure buttons, etc.? I found this:
http://redcl0ud.hostrocket.com/xbcd.html but I wanted to make sure there wasn't something else out there that is better.

I was going to use a PS2 controller I had with a ripped cord but I couldn't find any DIY tutorials on coverting it to usb. Seems that the Xbox controller conversion is pretty straight-foward, all the wire colors match up and you exclude the yellow wire.

Thanks,
Jason

I always have problems with those drivers, so I bought a logitech rumble pad. Works fine to me.

I ended up using the xbcd driver from the link I posted above, works very well. I went to EBgames tonight looking to buy just the breakaway part of the xbox controller cord so I could switch back and forth between the USB end and the Xbox end. The guy found one in the back and gave it to me for free! Woohoo! I got home and soldered a USB 2.0 end onto it and it works like a charm. Very neat and easy mod.

I just installed and ran the XBCD drivers a few days ago to play some MAME stuff. It's worked great for me so far.

Alright, after spending half of yesterday killing myself I'm willing to ask for help.

I just got the Super Joy Box 10, supposed to let you hook two Xbox controllers up to USB. When I follow the instructions and install the drivers and then plug it in all that happens is that it finds a "Generic USB Hub" then Windows trys to install it and can't find any drivers and doesn't do any more. I tried installing it on my other computer and it worked without any problem. The only difference between the two computers is one is newer and has an athlon processor v intel. They both have the same WinXP OS. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling several types of drivers including the company provided as well as XBCD and although both sets of drivers install fine, when I plug it in, all I get is the generic hub thing, and it still can't even install that. What am I missing?! At this point I'll try anything!

Jason, where did you find the tut that shows how to convert the Xbox controller to a pc usb controller. I've got several Xbox controllers that I'd love to switch over to pc controllers.

How is the functionality? Once converted to the analog triggers still work as analog?
