converting winamp playlist to XMMS

how do i do it, i want to use my winamp playlist with XMMS, how do i convert the playlist????? thanks!

I don't believe you need to..XMMS can read Winamp playlists..Regards

yes it can, i know, problem is none of the files play due to the fact that the playlist has them listed as being on e:\mp3's, and in linux the way the file system is that location is /mnt/hd2a/mp3's, so needless to say it doesnt play any files if i use the old playlist.

Ahh..well why didn't you say so in the beginning, jeez (j/k ). The playlists, .m3u, files seem to be just ASCII files. Why don't you just use a text editor and replace the path.

Depending on where you place the playlists; if in the same directory as the MP3's then there will be an entry saying "(Artist) Song.mp3". You would just change that to say "/mnt/hd2a/mp3's/(Artist) Song.mp3" and that should be it..Regards
