Converting to OSX

Windows has maya, 3dsmax, autocad, proe, solidworks, lightwave, softimage, etc etc

I can't seem to find anything for OSX besides Maya.

I'm running an intel macbook pro.

Anyone know maya well, I'm so used to the 3dsmax that maya looks a little foreign.

Pointers for a maya newbie?

Don't know of any native software programs that do the same thing off the top of my head for OS X but you could always dual boot into Windows or run Parallels.

I might be able to after I grab a new HD, by 100GB is filled with the programs and their associate content, I haven't even added and "data" yet so I definitely need a 160 or something.
