Converting Small Office Network to Wireless

I'm doing this as a favor to a friend. He wants to convert the 8 computers in his office to wireless, even though I told him wired would be more stable.

Do I just buy one wireless router and 7 wireless cards? I have only created home networks with no more than4-5 computers in the past.

He also told me that he would be using DSL, but he doesn't want everyone in the office to have access to it.

I'm pretty new to this kinda stuff. By the way, he's using Windows XP. If there's a guide I didn't see, feel free to link me to it.

THANKS!

If it's already wired, I'd just pick up either a) a wireless access point or b) pick up a new wireless firewall/router device and replace the current one. If he wants to add a wireless PC/laptop in the future, he can.

I can see no tangible benefit of "upgrading" an existing wired network to a wireless one. Stability, speed, and security are all compromised.

Yes vi_edit that's what I told the man but he insists he wants to get rid of the wires...Comprimising all that just for appearance's sake...tsk. It's not like this is his home we're talking about.
