Converting .rem into .mp3?

My grandma is in the hospital after a little accident and my mom cant take care of her since she has serious back problems thus not allowing her to help my grandma when she needs assistance (she fractured her arm and bruised up her face after a fall)

Anyways, my mom downloads vietnamese streaming songs from the internet which are in .rem files and she wants to convert them to make an MP3cd for her CDMP3 player so my grandma can listen to it while shes there.

anyone know how?
