I am trying to convert some of my old cds to mp3s. Also is there a program that will keep the song title and artist? Thank You?

I use EAC (Exact Audio Copy) and Lame when I burn CDs. Format: Artist - Album - Song title - Track number.

EAC + LAME ( its a compression Codec) VBR - V0 Setting ( best compression setting for quality and filesize) unless you want pure archivial then use FLAC

Another vote for EAC (with the new version it's actually easier to use than CDex, just install the LAME codec first). Also note that EAC and CDEX only support the freecddb, it's good but the Gracenote database is much more extensive, especially for foreign cds and audiobooks. So if EAC or CDEX won't recognize your CD from freecddb, fire up realplayer and play the CD and the info will come from Gracenote. Then in EAC import the cd info from your local cdplayer.ini

EAC + LAME is good - but I prefer Audio Grabber for ease of use and simplicity.
