Converting NTSC to PAL help.

Please, someone let me know if I can buy a VCR that will let me convert my NTSC home video to PAL to make copies for friends and family in Germany and Australia. If there is an inexpensive VCR that will let me do this, where is the best place online to find one. If there is no inexpensive device to do this, what would you suggest?
Thanks...

several solutions:
1. ask them to buy a multi-system vcr if it's not ridiculously expensive there (in US, it's. in developed Asian countries, they're at normal price, no more single system vcr there).
2. I saw ntsc<->pal converter on radioshack website about $300.
3. there are many companies help you to make pal tape from ntsc tape, don't know the price, search yahoo you'll see them.

Im in the UK and agree with point 1) Buying a video that includes NTSC decoding is a mere feature extra now, having it adds about £10 ($15) to the purchase price of PAL only models

So I can get a NTSC/PAL VCR and I can just input my NTSC VCR into it and then it will record the signal as PAL? Will this Multi-system work on a NTSC TV playing a PAL tape? Thanks...
