Hello all, man its been a long time since ive been on these boards. Been busy with my newly built a$$ kicking machine that everyone here at ATOT helped me with, so first i must give me respected thanks to all here. So. With that being said, i need to convert Itunes musci files into mp3s. So what programs do you guys recommend? I just need a simple program to convert the itunes files into mp3 audio.

Burn the music onto a CD using iTunes

It will burn into CD format

Download "Easy CD-DA Extractor" (it's on download.com)

Extract the music off of the CD and it will go into .mp3 format :)

1500 music files in mpeg4?!?! the only files that are mpeg4 are the ones you buy from iTunes Music Store . . . the ones that you import INTO iTunes (like from a CD) are MP3

for those that are .MP3 . . . use a flash drive or external/backup hard drive . . . or a network if you have that

If all of your songs are bought from Itunes (you spent 1500 bucks at itunes!??), then the only way to convert them is burning to a cd. However, if you have a dvd burner, I'm pretty sure you can make a dvd audio cd, which will make the process faster.

no i didnt buy any songs from itunes. i have around 1500 songs from cds. I am using an ipod so all my music is ripped onto itunes. I am now also using Mercora an excellent legitimate p2p radio sharing network. So in order to "broadcast" my music it needs to be in mp3 format. I could just use windows media player to rip my cds to mp3. The problem is that with 1500 songs that will take awhile.... So what im asking is that i NEED a program to directly convert these itunes files into mp3. Sorry for the long post but i guess i need to make it more clear as to what im doing.

nero might be able to do it...i know its able to convert them but for example, i tried to convert my windows media ripped WMAs to MP3 and it said it couldnt because of some stupid microsoft liscence thing (no, they werent copy protected) so knowing apple, theyll probably have some similar thing
