converting mp3's to WAV files

I know this one is a no brainer but I can't remember how to convert an mp3 file to a WAV file. I know that I have done this with winamp in the past but I can't, for the life of me, remember how to do it

Go to Winamp's Preferences and choose Output to "... To Disk" (something similar to that, cant remember exactly)... It will then prompt u for a directory to put the wav's in....

Afterwards just play your songs like normal and it will write to a wav file...
