Converting MP3 to WMA?

I have 192kbps MP3s that I want to convert to 96kbps WMA to cram more songs onto my MP3 player. What's the easiest way to do this?

I think Windows media Player 7 and beyond can handle that.
I recomend using Ogg instead of MP3 or WMA...

If his MP3 player supports this...

My portable MP3 player supports MP3, WMA, and ASF.

Looks like Windows Media Player 9 is the one currently available for download. Can someone with WMP9 confirm that it can convert MP3->WMA? Don't want to install it unless it does.

Winamp converts it for you. its under plugins -> output -> Nullsoft WMA Output Plugin. Change the settings to your desire and start converting. I'm using 2.81, not sure if its available in 3.
