Converting Mountain Bike for road use.

I don't go mountain biking much, but ride my bike to work every day. So I want to convert my bike for road use, because the OEM tires have too much rolling resistance.
What are some good slick tires for mountain bike. 26 inch. I am willing to spend $15 per tire.

why don't you go into your local bike shop to check it out?

^^ 🙂

Because I am busy. I want to know what I am getting, and then I will call the bike shop and see if they have it.
I don't want to show up and see what they have, and not know if that's what I really want or are they just selling me something that they want to move.
It's very simple, you see. I can walk around bike stores and see what slicks they have, or I can do some research and get exactly what I want.

i dont think it really matter what kind of slick tires you get...if your only willing to pay $30 for the pair, just look for whats in your budget
