You could run Windows in a VM or dual boot and convert the movies that way. Alternatively you could get an AppleTV and stream all the stuff that way. Plus if you put XBMC onto it, you can stream whatever you want to it.

I am not sure if it does what you want, but I have been using Video Monkey to convert my videos for various uses.

MotionMan

i just tried it, but it doesn't work on DRM protected movies.

it takes me long enough to save enough money to buy a mac, and i don't really have much use for an apple TV, i can plug my laptop into the TV if necessary. I was just hoping someone knew an easy way to convert the video files so that i could put them onto my phone.

oh well, its not the end of the world, it just would have been nice.

I am assuming that you don't have an iPhone, if you did, they would all sync right to the device.

no, i use android, i prefer android and i couldn't afford an iphone if i wanted to.

Well there is always the dual boot/VM solution. Or try running that software in crossover, which lets you just run windows applications without actually running windows.
