Is it a good idea to convert mp3 to wma?

Given that the bitrate in mp3 is lower.

Also will you notice the difference between 224kbps / 160 kbps ?

MP3 can go up to 320 kbps. You can do it if you have time to lose, but it won't sound any better if you're converting MP3 files. It takes less space though, so that may be an advantage, but mp3's are already small.
