I'm working on a friend's computer, he has two WD Rapter SATA drives in a RAID 0 (and I have no raid experience), And he wants to use the one drive in a different computer and wants to leave one drive in this computer. Is there any way to convert, or will I need to reinstall windows on this machine? Does it work to ghost the array, and then install the image on one of the drives? or is there an easier way?

if you have a spare drive and Partition Magic 8, it will be a breeze. you'll have to partition the raid setup first so it will be smaller than the "temp" drive. Copy to spare drive, the split up raid 0 and copy back to one of the previous raid drives.
