I'm planning on building the Projector featured in this toms Hardware Guide, but first I need to know something-

How can I convert the Component video coming out of my DVD Player to DVI so i an run it into the projector/monitor?

Is this even possible?

Not easily; you would need a transcoder, and I don't know if anyone makes a (cheap) component->DVI one. Your best bet is to use a computer with a DVD drive and a DVI-outputting video card, or an LCD that takes a VGA input (since component->VGA transcoders are pretty readily available; google for "VGA box").

Thanks man,

Hadnt thought of using vga, since the monitor has vga + DVI, i can use vgta for DVD, and DVI for HDTV.

That'll werk great, and save money on a DVI DVI Switch BOX.
