Converting CoD4 movies to something usable?

I played some great Hardcore MP games last night and wanted to show a friend of mine across the country who is thinking about picking up the game. I recorded the games with the in-game console command but have no idea how to convert them to something usable outside of the game. Google didn't help much as I don't want to spend any money on this. Is there a way to do this without using FRAPs or another program?

binister...instead of you doing all the work just point your friend to youtube and have him search for COD4...plenty of good gameplay videos there.

Could you post the file extension for these videos. Some of us who might be able to help you are not familiar with what file type is used with COD4.
