Hello, simple question here. I have never converted any of my cd's to mp3's and want to make sure I do it right (the first time, lol). So, what program do you guys recommend i use and any advice would be great.

EAC

EAC with LAME encoder..... Perfect marriage. Simple to install, and setup.

Does a beautiful job of ripping... Not the fastest ripper, as EAC is designed to rip with accuracy, not speed - SO the resulting MP3's will be of high quality.

Only thing you need to decide is if you want to rip to MP3 or OGG, etc, and if MP3, what bit rate to use. I rip to 320bit. I can tell a noticeable difference between that and 128bit, and I play them on mp3 player, car, and home stereo... files are way bigger, but harddrives are cheap!
