Converting AVI. to play on a DVD player!

Hey everyone,

Just bought a new digital camera. When I upload the videos to my comp. They come out in .AVI format. I need to convert these files to be able to play on a DVD player.ANy advice would do... thxs

Nero should also convert for you when you burn the AVI as video CD. Watch the file size though.

dvd2dvd also works pretty well. Use to require Scenarist to author the dvd but now it can also use the opensource dvdauthor which comes bundled with it.

You can get a dvd player that can play .avi file...philips DVP 642 ($69.99 at Walmart). Also plays DivX and other files. Just a suggestion...
