Converting AAC to MP3

A friend of mine used iTunes for a quite a while to rip CDs onto his computer, but recently purchased an MP3 player that only supports .MP3 format - do any of you know of a good program to convert AAC files to MP3?
 
Yeah, I know the quality is gonna really butchered, but all he wants is the files to work, lol. Thanks for the help.
