Converter for regular headphones ====> USB port?

So, everytime I have to hook up my headsphones, I have to kneel down, go under my desk, and unplug my speakers and plug in my headphones. Needless to say, its getting really old. What I'm looking for is:

A) A USB converter for my (one plug) headphone jack.

or

B) An extension cable so I can just do it from the front.

Hrm, the reviews on it for the PC arnt so good. I appreciate th effort, but thats kinda pricey for what I want....hrm...anyone else?

yeah, just go to radio shack and get a minijack extension cable. if they don't have one, try a headphone website.
