I have some CD's that I want to play on my computer but not with the cd drive. I think the CD files are wav, so what application out there will change it to mp3? Any help will be most appreciated, thanks.
confused about 1 thing here - i have a folder full of mp3s which is 563MB
i converted it all to wma files and it is now 295MB - why is mp3 so popular when there are smaller file formats which sound the same [to me at least]?
is it just cos mp3 is open source and wma M$ or am i missing something else as well?
probably cause when you converted them, you lowered the quality of the sound. you can have mp3s the size of a notepad file but it will sound like metallic crap
