Convert their Civic into an Integra? WHY would anyone do this?

There was this guy in my class who had a 1998 Honda Civic LX. He spent a lot of money, changed the engine to an Integra's, added some plastic and a huge spoiler. It looke ugly as hell. So much rice that it was unbelievable. I heard (just heard, never confirmed), that he even made the interior look like that of an Integra. He just paid someone to do it, didn't do a single thing himself. So it was not a love of labor. WHY WOULD anyone want to do this?

I can understand changing the engine ... but why did he have to rice it out?

The fact that he had someone else do everything is really weird...why would you do that? He probably put as much money into the "mods" as the original civic.
