i have a lamp with an incandescent 100w bulb.
i want to switch to cfl to save energy but only have 60w cfl's.

i was going to buy a 100w cfl then saw this on ebay for $0.75 shipped:

any problems using two 60w cfl's in the lamp?

I've used that before, works just as intended. Might not fit in some lamps and forget about any ce/csa approved stamp on that china stuff.

Yeah, it's fine for cfls and maybe leds as long as you're not hanging it upside down. That cheap plastic will discolor over time even with mild heat and it seems to reduce the life of both types.
