Convert Real Media to mpg or avi?

can it be done? and if so what program will do it?

I have some clicks in .rm foramt (which I LOATHE) and would liek to conver to .rm or .avi format.

Is there ANY way to do this?
 
But whats the point? Rms are just super compressed video, decompressing them into avi or mpg just wastes a lot of space while quality stays the same😛
 
Because I LOATHE Real Media.
I'd rather uncompress them and take up more space and use MS Media Player.. maybe even recompress with DiVX

good grief I would love to know if this can be done. why? because Real Media is the devil. They are among the biggest offenders when it comes to bloat, bullsh*t processes, and reporting back demographic info.

they are the devil and I cannot support them in any way.
 

Hm, i see. I just use norton internet securty and set it to block real player😛 Thats why to me its just not worth the trouble😛
 
Yes, but I have downloaded files that are .rm format. i would like to archive thm but NOT as .rm... hell I would like to VIEW them but I REFUSE to isntall real media crapola.
