Convert from Professional Write to Word

Does anyone know of a free program that will allow me to covert my Professional Write 1.0 files over to MS word? I can't seem to find anything that is free that will work. Open Office doesn't appear to work even though it is supposedly based on StarOffice. StarOffice is supposed to work, but I'm not going to pay $$ to find out. Thanks.

Can the files be exported to a common format.

I am trying to find a common format and I can't seem to find one. I am thinking that I might have run a dos emulator in Linux and try installing Pro Write there and then copy and paste them (this program is from 1986). I have a ton of files so that is a bit time consuming.
