convert a tif to a gif?

How do i convert a Tif to a gif or a jpeg?
I cant seem to find a way to do it.

Any decent image editing software will do it. You can try with MS Imaging (installs with Windows 98 into Start/Programs/Accessories), Paint Shop Pro...

you could also use Acdsee. just open the image, then press Ctrl+S . then when it asks for the name, type the name in, and then choose your image file extension from the drop down menu (default is the same format that the pic is currently in). i find Acdsee a very easy/fast way to do it, but you could do it through photoshop or any other image editing program

You can use IrfanView, a freeware image conversion utility
